Last week I ran my mouth about wanting podcasts to try and do more in-studio interviews, even though it may be impossible for them to do so.
So, the second episode of The comiXologist is out and about and I dusted off my interview chops with Jake. The interview isn’t the entire episode, in fact, it doesn’t start until about 25 minutes in. I’m always hesitant when I look at a comics podcast and the title is the name of the interviewee, since I assume the whole episode is like that.
I think it went pretty well. Fred’s book Action Philosophers has come back to the stage care of his wife and I can’t wait to check it out at NYCC. (Here is the show breakdown. Not up on the official site, yet.)
Next week’s show has the creators of Power Play stopping by. I really dug that one because after we talked about their book, we chatted about what they’re reading and enjoying. That’s always interesting to me - hearing actual people in the business talk about what they read in their “off-time”. (Check that one out next week.)
